The McBean Park and Ride facility, adjacent to the McBean Regional Transit Center, includes 282 new parking spaces and five bus bay platforms for Santa Clarita commuters to use. The brand new facility also includes environmentally friendly landscaping, 170 trees including 50 oak trees, a public art exhibit entitled “Archways” and low impact/energy efficient L.E.D. lighting technology. City leaders hosted a ground breaking ceremony for the facility in November 2013.
