The Santa Clarita City Council and CLWA Board of Directors celebrated the completion of Phase Three of the Central Park Master Plan. The project included development of: two new, full-size, lighted, multi-use sports fields; 170 new parking spaces; an enhanced walking/running path; a new basketball court and full resurfacing of existing courts; installation of irrigation and shade structures; and a plaza joining the fitness area and basketball courts.

Central Park is considered the crown jewel in the City’s Parks system, hosting a variety of sports teams and special events each year. The addition of two new fields and enhanced amenities is part of the City of Santa Clarita’s commitment to supporting a healthy Santa Clarita and quality recreation facilities for the entire community to enjoy.
