Spend Funds on Road Repair, Not High Speed Rail

In Senate floor testimony, Sen. Sharon Runner, R-Lancaster, proposes removing (from the budget bill) the use of Cap and Trade funds for High Speed Rail. The amendments were struck down by the Democratic majority.

Runner represents most of the Santa Clarita Valley as well as the Antelope Valley and Victor Valley in the state Senate.
