A crash on the northbound Interstate 5 truck route left one man dead after he collided with the rear end of a parked semi truck.

A woman died late Tuesday night after colliding with a parked car on Bouquet Canyon Road near Cinema Drive.

A big change for the Hart District came in the form of Linda Storli on voting night. Steve Sturgeon held on to his seat for Hart Trustee Area 4 with 1,313 votes against Andrew Taban who ended up with only 810 votes. Both incumbents for the Newhall County Water Board will be returning for four more years with Lynne Plambeck and Dan Mortenson.

A tiny but mighty fundraiser is coming to the Valencia High School theater next week for a dance team member who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

Cold weather is coming to the Antelope Valley and Los Angeles County Mountain areas this week.
