A local deputy is recovering after being stabbed by a 21-year-old suspect in Canyon Country Monday morning.

Santa Clarita City Council will consider purchasing 176 acres of property that has been slated for development in San Francisquito Canyon.

Volunteers are needed to help count the Santa Clarita Valley’s homeless population on Tuesday, January 23 as part of the Greater Los Angeles Homeless Count.

Sunday night’s Golden Globes saw many take home a statue, including a CalArts alumnus.
