Polar plungers dove into the coldest water ever recorded during the Polar Bear Plunge event at the Santa Clarita Aquatics Center on Friday morning.

The 10th annual event brought together people of all ages to give back to the Santa Clarita Food Pantry and enjoy some free hot chocolate after their 45 degree swim.

“”I couldn’t feel my feet as soon as I first got in,” said Seth Nasr, a Polar Plunge veteran. “Then,  I couldn’t feel anything else as soon as I got off the slide.”
