There were two fatal crashes Wednesday in the Santa Clarita Valley. Wednesday marks the 15th anniversary of the shooting of Deputy Hagop “Jake” Kuredjian. The man who was found dead in the wash in Monday afternoon has been identified as 56-year-old Leonard John Voeltner. Governor Jerry Brown gave the OK to water supplies to fine residents for excessive water use. A man who lost his brother to Alzheimer’s disease is now riding rollers coasters around the nation to raise awareness and funds to stop the disease.
