WISH UPON A DANCE-  Sierra Vista…when you wish upon a star…our first dance of the year arrives! Come and join us at the “Happiest Place on Earth” for our Disneyland dance which will be in the MPR onFriday, September 30th from 2:30-4:30pm. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, September 26th at the ASB window for $8, but don’t wait, because the prices will go up to $10 on Thursday. We also have a special “Fast Pass” ticket available for this dance: for $15 the Fast Pass gets you front of the line admission into the dance so you don’t need to wait more than a few minutes to get in, as well as a free beverage and churro, as well as front of the line admission to our games. If you purchased a Sierra Vista Dance Party Pack, you do not need to buy a ticket, but you can upgrade to the Fast Pass for just $5 at the ASB window. Don’t forget to bring your student ID card with you when you purchase a ticket and come to the dance. Additionally, students cannot be on the LOP list if they wish to buy a ticket, including Party Pack members…they must be cleared from the LOP list too! We can’t wait to see you at our first dance where dreams come true!

PERMISSION FOR THE SSA- Attention Safe School Ambassadors. Don’t forget, your permission slip to be in the SSA program and to attend the two training days in October is due to Mrs. Flaherty in room 101 by this Friday, September 23rd at 3 p.m. Don’t miss out on this great opportunity to make a difference at your school! HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERS- Attention Honor Society Members!  Don’t forget that Installation Practice is TODAY at Lunch in the MPR, and you need to be there if you are planning on attending the Ceremony on Thursday night. We are need of donated baked goods/treats for after the ceremony.  Just drop off the items in room 106 this week, or bring it with you on Thursday night.  Please let me know if you plan on bringing treats, so I can make sure there is enough for everyone attending.

REAGAN LIBRARY FIELD TRIP- The Honor Society Permission Slip and Money for the REAGAN LIBRARY field trip are due by THIS Friday 9/23 to the ASB office.  We only have 50 seats available, so get your paperwork in sooner than later.  If your parent(s) want to chaperone, then they should email me or turn in the volunteer form by this Friday.

ASB on SNAPCHAT – Hey Sierra Vista! ASB now has a SnapChat to advertise ASB events and upcoming activities. Look for the SnapChat codes around campus or search “SierraVistaASB” – all one word on SnapChat. Don’t be a ghost around Sierra Vista, add us!

Today in clubs and activities the Minecraft club will be meeing in room 1205, the Glee club will be meeting in the choir room, and the Rubix cube club will be meeting in room 401. All of these clubs will be meeting at lunch. Finally the CHS tutoring club will be meeting in the library after school. See you there!Video Game Club is meeting this Thursday after school from 2:15-3 p.m. Last week, we enjoyed playing individual, handheld games (like the Nintendo DS) as well as playing as a group on a Wii.
