After a month of fundraising, the Kids Foot Locker Foundation gifted the Boys and Girls Club of the Santa Clarita Valley with a $5,000 check and gave away five pairs of brand-new shoes to a couple of lucky kids.

The party started with a DJ, basketball and raffle that promised a brand-new pair of athletic shoes to a lucky winner.

The club was one of only 10 organizations chosen to receive the check from Foot Locker’s “Add-a-Buck” campaign.

During the month of September, Kids Foot Locker stores asked customers to donate $1, $3 or $5 at the register to support Boys & Girls Clubs.
