Local government, law enforcement and fire leaders held a press conference and fireworks demonstration Wednesday ahead of the fourth of July weekend.

Local fireworks shows include the city of Santa Clarita’s show at the Valencia Town Center, Six Flags Magic Mountain and one at Richard riots Park in Stevenson Ranch.
