Caltrans and local politicians came out to break ground on the $171 million I-5 Roadway Rehabilitation project. The city of Santa Clarita has partnered with the SCV Sheriff’s Station to ask drivers to slow down during this busy time of year. Thursdays at Newhall is back for August, bringing a lineup of fun, entertaining, and interactive events. As a new school year begins, the SCV Education Foundation is continuing its efforts to support literacy in Santa Clarita’s elementary school districts. Plus, weather. Television viewers can catch the SCV NewsBreak on SCVTV at the top of every hour from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., repeating the following morning at 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. SCVTV runs on Time Warner Cable Channel 20 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99, and streaming on SCVTV.com.
