District 10 has copied what you’d find on a roadside at its Stockton campus, so workers can learn to repair an irrigation pipe or operate a remote controlled irrigation system without the distractions and traffic noise that accompany roadside training. With additional funding from Senate Bill 1, Caltrans is hiring more Maintenance workers to upgrade the state’s transportation system. District 10’s outdoor Training Center provides the training they need in a quiet, safe environment.
