A 21-year-old man accused of stabbing a Sheriff’s detective in Canyon Country on Monday has been charged with attempted murder. After 48 years as an educator, Saugus Union School District Superintendent Joan Lucid, has announced that she will retire at the end of the school year. Road closures in the Santa Clarita Valley have been issued by county offices due to the possibility of mudslides in the area. Canyon High School is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary by honoring the 50 most influential people in the school’s history. Plus, weather.
