The city of Santa Clarita began the demolition of vacant buildings on the site of the future Canyon Country Community Center.

As part of the Santa Clarita 2020 plan, the city of Santa Clarita is building a new permanent Canyon Country Community Center to replace the existing one on Flying Tiger Drive.

As the construction process begins, crews will tear down some existing city-owned property at the new site.

The new Community Center will be located on the northeast corner of Soledad Canyon Road and Sierra Highway in Canyon Country.
