Gritstone is a powerful documentary taking you behind the scenes of one of California’s most iconic natural landmarks, Vasquez Rocks Natural Area.

The film takes the viewer through not only the most photographed Los Angeles County natural area but also through the unseen parts. Through the eyes of two dedicated park rangers, it explores the balance of conserving this wild space while facing modern-day challenges.

The number of visitors to the park increases every year, making it even more important to tell the story of how we can all protect it for generations to come.
