In preparation for LA Fleet week coming August 31st to September 3rd, check out last year’s Galley Wars Steel Beach Burger Challenge. Four culinary teams including the US Navy, US Coast Guard, US Marine Corps & the Royal Canadian Navy competed in the 2nd annual “Galley Wars” as part of LA Fleet Week® 2017. The four competing teams each had twenty minutes to prepare and plate their best “steel beach” meal including a burger, two sides and a dessert.
