Fun Friday: Come out to the quad this Friday for Fun Friday! We will have giant JENGA, ladder toss, bean bag toss, and more! We will also be having a special “Move the Marshmallow” game where you have to try to pick up as many marshmallows as you can with a straw. The winners get marshmallows. We hope to see you there!

Safe School Ambassadors Wanted: We are searching for students interested in joining our Safe School Ambassadors program here at Sierra Vista. This program teaches students how to handle conflict through peer mediation techniques and how to encourage positivity on campus rather than negativity. SSA members become valuable peace-keepers, and they also learn how to recognize threats and how to report them in a timely manner in order to keep our school a safe place. The students we are looking for are kind, helpful individuals who have the potential to make a difference in the lives of others. We need students who are trustworthy and diverse. Students who join SSA need to be responsible too because they will be missing two days of classes on 9/20 and 9/21 for training and must make-up their work. Finally, we need committed and reliable students because there will be follow-up meetings and training events every month. Does this sound like you?
