Jersey Mike’s: On March 27th, Jersey Mike’s is hosting a “Eat a Sub, Make a Difference” fundraiser night in which all of their profits for the day are donated to the “Cancer for College” organization. If you like Jersey Mike’s, and you’d like to support a worthy cause, then be sure to visit a Jersey Mike’s location on March 27th.
Panda Express: If you would like to eat delicious food and support Advanced Choir, then come to Panda Express next Wednesday, March 27 from 5-8 PM. When you use the flyer you receive from your English teacher to buy dinner, the choir earns 20% towards their Disneyland Festival. You don’t even have to eat at the restaurant! You can order online with a code and eat from the comfort of your own couch. We can’t wait to see you there!
Minimum Day: This Thursday is minimum day for open house. School gets out at 11:35. Open House begins at 5:30pm and classroom visits begin at 6pm.
March Madness: This Wednesday at lunch in the GYM, the winning team of March Madness, The Truth, will be taking on the staff to see which team REALLY is the best.
Book Fair: The Scholastic Book Fair is here ’til this Friday! Stop by the library during school hours and Open House to purchase great books and fun school supplies. We also have the “Giving Tree” again. For each $1.00 donation you give to the library to buy books, you get a chance to win a prize with our pencil pull. If your pencil has green ink at the end of it, you’re a winner of a free poster, dragon figurine, or other prize of your choice. Thank you for supporting your school library.
LA County Science Team: “On Thursday, some brilliant and brave Sierra Vista students in our science team will be competing in the LA County science fair in Pasadena. We wish you the best of luck in the competition, and we’re thankful for having you represent our school!
