Magic Mountain Trip: Attention 8th graders: the end-of-the-year Magic Mountain field trip is Wednesday, June 5th! Regular tickets will cost $55 for admission to the park, transportation, and the special t-shirt. For season pass holders, the transportation and t-shirt costs $20. Since the “Let’s Do This” fundraiser we had at the beginning of the year was a great success, students purchasing a ticket will receive 1 meal voucher to purchase food within the park! Please pick up your permission slip at the ASB window ASAP!

Mini-Garden Class: Students that turned in a flier for the mini-garden making class with Mrs. Flaherty should report to her room, 615, after school today.

DFY X-Week: This week, DFY in SCV presents X-Week. Today – come out to the quad at lunch to participate in a 3-legged race with your friends. And on Friday – wear pajamas to symbolize “put drugs to sleep!”

Easter Egg Hunt!:To get into the spirit of Easter ASB is hosting an Egg Hunt! During Brunch tomorrow find eggs, bring them to the Outdoor Stage and trade your eggs in for candy! Happy Easter from ASB!

Fortune Egg Library Hunt: Today at brunch, there will be a “Fortune Egg Compliment Hunt” in the library. Students participating get to search for the eggs that are hidden in the library that have a fortune inside. Students that find an egg also get an Otter Pop!

Spirit Week: Next week is Spirit Week! Dress up and show your school spirit! Monday is Meme Day, Tuesday is Pastel Day, Wednesday is Crazy Sock Day, Thursday is Twin Day, Friday is Summer Day, wear summer or beach attire, but swimsuits are prohibited. ASB will be visiting class periods during B and C period to deliver candy to participants.  Tuesday at brunch come out to the quad to spin the spirit wheel.

Sports; Handball: We will be having handball today during lunch in the gym. Handball is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. The first 14 players to show up will play.

Last-Chance-Dance!: Come one, come all! The last dance of the year is Friday, April 26th from 2:30-4:30pm. We will be having a donut food truck and other carnival treats, as well as tons of games, and an awesome DJ. Tickets go on sale this Thursday for $5. If you’re interested is pre ordering some pizza, a hot dog, or a churro for $5 each to eat at the dance, then you MUST place your preorder by the end of lunch on Thursday, April 25th, or there’s no guarantee that there will be more food available for sale during the dance. This is going to be our best dance of the year! :D :)

Clubs and Activities: Today in clubs and activities, we have tutor club in room 101, the debate club in room 801, the pro bey club in room 206, the fitness club in the fitness center after school, the gardening class after school in room 615, the video game club after school, and the Canyon High School band mentorship after school from 2:30-3:30.
