Canyon ASB: Just a reminder for any 8th graders that were applying for ASB as their elective at Canyon that the applications are due this Friday.

Magic Mountain: 8th graders: don’t forget to purchase your Magic Mountain ticket ASAP. Regular tickets will cost $55, for season pass holders, the the cost is $20. Students purchasing a ticket will receive 1 meal voucher to purchase food within the park! Tickets can be purchased BEFORE school to avoid the lines.

DFY in SCV: This week, DFY in SCV presents X-Week. Today wear pajamas to symbolize “put drugs to sleep!”

Egg Hunt: ASB is hosting an Egg Hunt during brunch today. Participants will find eggs, bring them to the Outdoor Stage and trade your eggs in for candy! Have fun!

Egg Scrambler: Today we have a fun Friday where students can play “Egg Scrambler!.” Participants will get to chose one egg out of six, two of which will contain candy. If participants choose a correct egg, they get the candy that’s inside!

Spirit Week: Next week is Spirit Week! Dress up and show your school spirit! Monday is Meme Day, Tuesday is Pastel Day, Wednesday is Crazy Sock Day, Thursday is Twin Day, Friday is Summer Day, wear summer or beach attire, but swimsuits are prohibited. ASB will be visiting class periods during B and C period to deliver candy to participants. Tuesday at brunch come out to the quad to spin the spirit wheel.

COC Seminar: On Saturday, from 9:30am – 2:30pm, COC is hosting “Wake Up, Stand Up,” in the Dianne Van Hook University Center, which is a seminar about preventing sexual harassment . For more info, go to wakeupstandup.site.

Handball Tournament: We will be having handball today during lunch in the gym. Handball is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. The first 14 players to show up will play.

Last Dance: Come one, come all! The last dance of the year is Friday, April 26th from 2:30-4:30pm. We will be having a donut food truck and other carnival treats, as well as tons of games, and an awesome DJ. Tickets go on sale this Thursday for $5. If you’re interested is preordering some pizza, a hot dog, or a churro for $5 each to eat at the dance, then you MUST place your preorder by the end of lunch on Thursday, April 25th, or there’s no guarantee that there will be more food available for sale during the dance. This is going to be our best dance of the year!

Clubs and Activities: Today in clubs and activities, we have the Meme Club in room 204, the tutor club in room 610, and Fun Friday at the outdoor stage.
