Construction is currently underway at the future site of the new Canyon Country Community Center at the corner of Sierra Highway and Soledad Canyon Road. April 2018: The first set of City-owned buildings were demolished to make way for the new community center. September 2018: The billboard at the southwest corner of the site was dismantled and removed. March 2019: The City officially broke ground, beginning Phase I construction, which includes rough grading, and infiltration system and improvements to the Mint Canyon Channel. Early 2020: Phases II and III which include the construction of the community center building will begin
