EXPLORE: The Sierra Vista staff are on the lookout for any Plainsmen that are demonstrating the behavior expectation of EXPLORE. When a teacher or other staff member catches you demonstrating the expectation EXPLORE, he or she may award you with some flair and a Succeed Ticket! Students who earn these tickets can turn them into the ASB office.

Manufacturing Day Field Trip: Originally only open to certain electives, the Manufacturing Day Field Trip on October 4th has a few more spots for a few lucky students. If you are interested to come meet and interact with all types of manufacturing companies from Santa Clarita and explore career path opportunities within the industry,come see Ms. Roth in the counseling office to get a permission slip TODAY! These must be signed and returned by Monday!

Project Linus: PROJECT LINUS needs your help making handmade blankets for critically ill and traumatized children on Saturday September 28th at COC! Service hours are guaranteed for those who participate. 

Honor Society: Attention 8th grade HONOR SOCIETY members! Today’s the last day to turn in your permission slip & payment to the ASB window if you want to attend the Field Trip to the Reagan Library on Oct. 21st. Look at the website or see MRS. MARSH for more information.  

High School Musical 3: Come to room 621 on Monday, with your friends to watch “High School Musical 3!” There will be games and candy! Come have some fun!

Skittles Vacuum Challenge: Come on down to the outdoor stage on September 30 at brunch to participate in the Skittles Vacuum challenge! The students will try to get skittles from one plate to another in one minute. Have fun everyone!

Circle of Friends: The first official “Circle of Friends” meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 1st in room 620. Come hang out and meet new friends while participating in fun games and activities. If you have not turned in your application, please see Mrs. Mackey in room 1203. 

October Intramurals: October intramurals are almost here and it’s up to the students to choose. Is kickball your game? Like shooting pucks or spiking volleyballs, want to play ultimate Frisbee? Go to the Sierra Vista website and vote now!

Clubs and Activities: Today in Clubs and Activities, we have the Karaoke Club in room 607 and our first dance after school, in the MPR.
