“It Can Wait” is an award-winning public service announcement created by Golden Valley High School students Max Parker, Brady Traverso, Ally Ines, Connor McCormick and Makenna Ends, under the direction of their teacher, Dena De Vera. The PSA was created to bring awareness to electronic device addiction.

The video was one of three selected out of several entries in a contest hosted by the SCV Sheriff’s Station, SCV Sheriff’s Foundation and the Hart District. Each school was awarded $500 towards their video production programs, provided by the SCV Sheriff’s Foundation and recognized by the city of Santa Clarita and the Office of L.A. County 5th District Supervisor Kathryn Barger.
