In this segment of SCVTV’s Community Corner, Captain Justin Diez from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station shares how they respond to calls with people experiencing mental health crises.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has a longstanding tradition of innovating with mental health and policing – like being the first law enforcement agency to collaborate with the Department of Mental Health.
