SCVTV's Community Corner | SCVTV’s Community Corner: Make a Plan to ‘Ready! Set! Go!’ with These Tips from LACoFD
|
In this segment from SCVTV’s Community Corner, L.A. County Fire Department Acting Assistant Chief Patrick Sprengel will get you prepped to “Ready! Set! Go!” in the case of a fire-related evacuation. LACoFD wants residents to plan ahead as much as possible to help reduce some of the stress that comes with evacuating, while also planning ahead to ensure your home is safe and protected during a wildfire. Each component of Ready! Set! Go! is meant to instruct and guide community members for how to prep for fire related emergencies. Utilizing the Ready! Set! Go! planning materials are aimed to help residents have the confidence to evacuate quickly and safely, while knowing they did as much as possible to fortify their home against a damaging wildfire. Ready! Set! Go! tools and resources are available on the LACoFD website at https://fire.lacounty.gov/rsg/. For additional hard copies of the Ready! Set! Go! planning guide, residents can also contact the LACoFD Public Information Office at (323) 881-2411. Want to see more from SCVTV’s Community Corner?
