SCVTV's Community Corner | Community Close-Up: Hart District Students Leading Pad Project SCV
|
Caitlyn Park and Dara Falodun are two Hart District students on a mission: to make menstrual equity a reality for all women in and around the Santa Clarita Valley, and to end the stigma around menstruation. Let’s take a closer look at their story and their work leading the Hart District Pad Project chapters in this Community Close-Up. Caitlyn and Dara’s dedication to this cause has helped them and their peers collect $4,800 worth of menstrual supplies and donate them to the Hart District’s family resource centers and Bridge to Home. Community Close-Up highlights inspiring and impactful stories of individuals and groups that are having a positive impact in and around the Santa Clarita Valley. If you know someone who is helping make a positive impact in SCV, email CommunityCorner@scvtv.com to share their story and be featured in the next Community Close-Up.
