Host Carrie Lujan opens the show by introducing our guest host, Angelica Huato-Nelson, a sixth grade teacher at Newhall Elementary School. They dive into her work as a teacher, as well as her passions for supporting local nonprofits and participating in “Lean In Circle”, a women’s group that aims to empower other women to achieve their goals.

Additionally, Carrie shares more about the recent Bridge to Home shelter ribbon cutting and how this brand new, full-service shelter will positively impacted the unhoused populations.
