SCVTV's Community Corner | West Ranch Student Aims to Serve an Ace for Mental Health Awareness
|
West Ranch High School student Ethan Park took his grief and turned into a positive: he created the “Game. Set. Hope. Charity Tennis Tournament” aiming to raise funds for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, or NAMI, and to aiming to also raise awareness about the importance of caring for our mental health. While sure to be a day of exciting competition, Park hopes it has a positive impact on the community, with the hope of sharing the message of hope and support to those who might be struggling with their mental health. “Game. Set. Hope.” will be on Saturday, September 7, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at West Ranch High School. Interested in being a Player? The registration fee is $25 and you can sign up at GameSetHope.org.
