SCVTV's Community Corner | Celebrating ‘Artober’ in the City of Santa Clarita
|
City of Santa Clarita Arts Coordinator Katherine Nestved shares what’s in store for “Artober”, a month-long celebration of the arts in October, in honor of National Arts & Humanities Month. While October is often synonymous with Halloween and spooky season, it’s also time for communities to celebrate the impact of the arts. The City of Santa Clarita Arts & Events department has planned a month-long celebration–with events like inspiring conferences and networking opportunities for artists, gallery installations, a poetry reading, and more–in honor of National Arts & Humanities month. Artober is officially in full swing and kicks-off with the Sidewalk Poetry Project Dedication Ceremony on October 2. Head to SantaClaritaArts.com to say updated on everything Artober and upcoming events.
