SCVTV's Community Corner | Celebrate Halloween at the Santa Clarita Public Library
|
City of Santa Clarita’s Senior Librarian Liza Purdy joins us to share the frightfully fun activities and events at the three Santa Clarita Public Library branches. This Halloween, you and your goblins can enjoy multiple events across all three library branches. Whether you want to parade around in costume, get some fun crafts in, or be treated to some spooky stories, there’s an activity for every little monster! On Thursday, October 31, each of the three branches (Old Town Newhall Library, Canyon Country Jo Anne Darcy Library, and Valencia Library), will host their own spooky events to celebrate the holiday. From 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., you can go to the Old Town Newhall Library for their Craft and Costume Parade event. You can also head to the Canyon Country Jo Anne Darcy Library from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for their Scavenger Hunt and Costume Parade. Also, you can go to the Valencia Library 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for their Scavenger Hunt and Spooky Stories event. Find out more information about these events and more at the Santa Clarita Public Library website.
