The SCV Senior Center’s CEO Kevin MacDonald joins us to talk about the Senior Center’s Thanksgiving Feast as well as their other holiday events that help senior citizens feel a sense of community during the season.

The SCV Senior Center’s slate of activities helps provide a sense of community for local seniors. With the holiday season fast approaching and officially kicking off on Thanksgiving, seniors can often feel lonely; that’s where the Senior Center’s offerings come into play.

Their annual Thanksgiving Feast is a perfect opportunity for local seniors to find community and enjoy camaraderie with friends, all while enjoying a classic Thanksgiving meal.

The Feast is on November 28 from 10:45 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In addition to the Feast, the SCV Senior Center has plenty of festive holiday events on the calendar this December. Between another exciting concert–as part of their concert series–to a pop-up beauty salon, there’s something for everyone.
