The city of Santa Clarita, County of Los Angeles, and public safety officials hosted a Summer Fire Safety Press Conference on June 20 to educate residents about wildfire mitigation and the dangers of fireworks. Remarks were shared from the Santa Clarita City Council, Assistant Chief Patrick Sprengel, and SCV Sheriff’s Acting Captain Brandon Barclay.

This year also featured close ups of the the goats and sheep clearing bush around the valley, fire dozers, and a live helicopter water drop courtesy of L.A. County Fire.
