The city of Santa Clarita is gearing up for the annual Bike to Work Week Challenge taking place Monday through Friday, May 11-15.

Project Technician Angelica Wasowicz explains how the challenge works and shares the benefits of participating in the event.

This challenge lets Santa Clarita businesses compete to see who can get the most employees to bike to work, while also offering commuters an opportunity to win prizes. Pit stops will be held on Thursday, May 14 from 7 a.m –9 a.m., where riders can enjoy refreshments including Henry’s Coffee and sandwiches from Chick-Fil-a.

Bike to Work Week isn’t just for businesses—it’s open to everyone, including individual riders ready to pave the way for a greener Santa Clarita!
