The Master’s University–TMU–Theatre Department is bringing the classic Jane Austen novel “Emma” to life on the stage this Fall, combining fantastic acting, innovative stagecraft, and creative costuming for a delightful live production experience; TMU’s Director of Theatre Arts Tricia Hulet shares more about the process of bringing this show to life, what awaits audiences, and more on this segment from SCVTV’s Community Corner. “Emma” follows the character Emma Woodhouse, a confident and precocious young woman whose misplaced matchmaking abilities lead to a variety of romantic misadventures. The classic Jane Austen novel was adapted for the stage by Michael Bloom. TMU’s production of “Emma” takes to the stage on October 20-28, 2023 at the The Master’s University Recital Hall on 24736 Quigley Canyon Road in Santa Clarita, CA.
