On this opening segment for SCVTV’s Community Corner, hosts Carrie Lujan and Dave Caldwell preview this week’s guest lineup; Carrie also shares about the upcoming Central Park buildout opening and the Vista Canyon Train Station opening.

The City of Santa Clarita is holding a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Central Park Buildout Project on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. at Central Park. The ribbon cutting officially marks the open of the 15-acre enhancement project to Central Park, which boasts new multipurpose fields, additional courts, and the already popular 172-step exercise staircase.

The City is also opening their fourth Metrolink Station at the Vista Canyon Multi-Modal Center Friday, October 20 at 1:00 p.m. The new station will serve the Southern California Regional Rail Authority Metrolink Antelope Valley Line, which runs between Lancaster and Los Angeles Union Station.
