SCVTV's Community Corner | COC Football’s Head Coach Talks Upcoming Ventura Game, Coaching Philosophy
|
COC Football’s Head Coach Ted Iacenda stopped by SCVTV’s Community Corner to share how the Canyons Football team is doing this season, his thoughts on the upcoming game against Ventura, and his coaching philosophy when training the next generation of football players, while also re-establishing a sense of community around the Canyons team. The Canyons v. Ventura game is on Saturday, November 11 at Cougar Stadium in Valencia and will include a special tribute in honor of Veterans Day. Head Coach Ted Iacenda is also hoping the game brings the community out in support of the team, which is something he has strived to do since taking over at the helm. Being from Santa Clarita, Iacenda has also strived to encourage young players to continue striving for their best, whether they’re playing in the local youth football teams or at the high school level, knowing personally the sort of impact this support can have on a player’s development. Interested in seeing Canyons Football up close? Head out to the game on Saturday, November 11 at 4 p.m. to catch them in action; tickets and other information is available at COCAthletics.com. Unable to attend in person? SCVTV, in partnership with COC Athletics, will be livestreaming the game! Tune in on COC Athletics Youtube page, SCVTV.com, Apple TV, ROKU, Spectrum Channel 20, or AT&T U-Verse Channel 99.
