The City of Santa Clarita is gearing up for two beloved events: their Veterans Day Ceremony and Light Up Main Street. City of Santa Clarita Arts & Events Supervisor Kyle Lopez stopped by SCVTV’s Community Corner to tell us more about what’s in store for both.

The Veterans Day Ceremony is on November 11 at 11 a.m. at Veterans Historical Plaza; this year, event organizers are emphasizing the 70th anniversary of the end of the Korean War.

Light Up Main Street, presented by DrinkPAk, is on November 18 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Not only will you see the dazzling lights display adorning Main Street, but there’s also dozens of activities to partake in, including a snow zone, a Candy Cane Carnival, the Makers Marketplace and more.
