SCVTV’s Community Corner’s show opener for the week of December 4, 2023, featuring a recap of the Light Up Main Street event as well as information on how to get involved in the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree initiative.

Light Up Main Street brought together hundreds of community members to witness the official lighting of Main Street in Newhall. The event not only showed the dazzling holiday display, but also featured a full carnival style setup, complete with festive booths such as Letters to Santa and a meet-and-greet with holiday characters.

Additionally, the Salvation Army Angel Tree is now taking volunteers to adopt a senior or family in need this holiday season to help spread some cheer and much needed items to assist them during this time.
