In Sports: Foothill League Football preview with a look at the Cloud49 Game of the Week on SCVTV when the Chaminade Eagles take on the Valencia Vikings on Friday; Other high school football action will see Hart hosting Burroughs Thursday, and on Friday: West Ranch vs. Eastside in Lancaster, Canyon hosts Knight, Saugus hosts Buena, and Golden Valley visits Channel Islands in Oxnard. Also: Santa Clarita Christian takes on Vasquez in Acton, and on Saturday, Trinity takes on Immanuel Christian in Ridgecrest. In college football, College of the Canyons travels to Citrus to take on the Owls, UCLA takes on Texas at the Rose Bowl, and the Trojans host Syracuse at the Coliseum.

Finally: The Brittany Foundation will hold its fall “Comedy for Canines” fundraiser Friday at JR’s Comedy Club in Valencia to raise money for the no-kill dog shelter.
