A first-of-its-kind youth training at the SCV Sheriff’s Station had two dozen teens in attendance Monday for what is likely to be the only summer school course they’ll take that could save their lives; COC board member Steven Zimmer and Hart district board member Bob Jensen announced Monday they’ll run in November.

Its main building got a total makeover in 2010, and now, the Placerita Canyon Nature Center is up for nearly $1.5 million dollars worth of new museum exhibits and outdoor displays; Ice cream, snappy tunes and good times were had at the SCV Senior Center Sunday; local weather.

Finally:
A summertime tradition for many in Santa Clarita includes enjoying Shakespeare in the park at Rivendale – this year there’s so much more.
