Those who have lost their lives due to drug overdose in our valley have not been forgotten and it couldn’t have been more evident Friday night; On Wednesday the city will host the third annual Heroin Kills Symposium at the Activities Center.

One person was taken to the hospital Monday morning with minor injuries after a car slammed into a Supercuts in Valencia; Residents and business owners are invited to one of two seminars hosted by the Newhall County Water District on Tuesday; local weather.

A local athlete is achieving international fame and we’re getting ready for high school football; televised games begin Friday.

Suzanne Harper, the KHTS-sponsored country singer who won the local level of the Texaco Country Showdown, went on to win the state finals at Knotts Berry Farm against nine other country bands.
