The caption above says 1914 silent western drama film The Squaw Man featuring William S. Hart. Then in the beginning of the film you mention William S. Hart originally in play on Broadway. Sounds like he never was in the film, just the Broadway play.
“In 1905, when Anderson began making “Broncho Billy” films, Hart landed a job in The Squaw Man, were he played Cash Hawkins, a villainous cowboy, and won rave reviews from New York theater critics.”
On the front of SCV where you talk about The Squaw Man you say Hart played on stage, but never in the three film versions.
