Santa Clarita voters will be heading to the polls Tuesday to elect three city council members. It’s a sporadic and uncommon disease, but at least 8 cases of Meningitis have been reported in Los Angeles County since January. Richie, 7, of Santa Clarita, has had more than 250 blood draws and a dozen surgical procedures due to a complicated multi-system disorder, that doctors don’t know much about, including how to cure it. Walkers and runners, and supporters helped to raise more than $7,000 for Santa Clarita’s breast cancer organization Circle of Hope Saturday at Castaic Lake. The City of Santa Clarita is offering a free way to safely and securely get rid of your hazardous household waste and old electronic equipment this weekend.
