Santa Clarita Valley residents and business owners should prepare themselves for a rate hike in their sewer fees. The winners of the 2014 Santa Clarita Municipal Eection were sworn into office Tuesday evening at City Hall. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has released preliminary crime stats for the first three months of 2014, comparing them to the same time of year in 2013 and 2009. The Sheriff’s Station is planning another DUI and Driver’s License checkpoint for Friday, at an undisclosed location in the Santa Clarita Valley.
