Detectives are asking for your help in identifying a man who stole 18 hundred dollars worth of ammo in Newhall.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies detained a man at College of the Canyons in Valencia Tuesday after reports went out to students of a man with a gun on campus.

The hills in Castaic were set a blaze Wednesday morning, but not to worry, firefighters had everything under control.

The Child and Family Center will say goodbye to a respected leader in September when President and CEO Darrell Paulk retires.
