Los Angeles County Fire Department and Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials responded to Six Flags Magic Mountain on Monday on reports that the legendary Colossus roller coaster was on fire. Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials are investigating a report of a missing Canyon High School student who disappeared Sunday afternoon. Nearly 40 hikers, volunteers and city officials gathered in the Angeles National Forest over the weekend for a ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of Dagger Flat Trail.
