Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials are asking for the public’s help in finding a purse snatching suspect who detectives believe left behind a crucial clue to his identity — his driver’s license.

A 23-year-old Canyon Country man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to five counts of sexual conduct with a 15 year old Girl.

A 19-year-old male suspect is behind bars for allegedly breaking into at least two canyon country homes.

Saugus Union School District officials named Chris Trunkey as the newest member to their governing board Tuesday, filling a seat left vacant by Doug Bryce’s departure in September.
