Multiple trees fell on San Francisquito Canyon Road Thursday afternoon causing the road to be shut down.

After a months-long investigation, detectives have officially closed the investigation of the Calgrove Fire.

A Los Angeles County Librarian known for her service to the community will be receiving a plaque in her honor at the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors Meeting next Tuesday.

The city of Santa Clarita will begin construction on the Sierra Highway Beautification and Intersection Improvements project this August.
