A Newhall man convicted of killing his 19 day old daughter in January of this year, was sentenced to 50 years in prison today. The Castaic Union School District is seeking the public’s help in finding the next superintendent of the district. Candidates in the 2 Hart District Board Races filed paperwork disclosing how they raised funds and how they used those funds. Residents in the Plum Canyon Area of Saugus reported several incidents over the weekend and today involving what appears to be a prank where suspects are turning off power to residences in the area. The City of Santa Clarita and the Domestic Violence Center of Santa Clarita are launching a 4 part series to educate residents about domestic violence. 50 years is not near what this worthless piece of trash. I do not think he should get the death penalty because that is to quick. He should get just what he has coming. Every day the others in there will remind him why he is there and remind him the pain he caused that baby!! Also if he gets out in 20 years, I would say it won’t be pretty but I just don’t see them letting him out.
