College of the Canyons received a telephone bomb threat Monday night and, according to officials it has been deemed a hoax. Santa Clarita community members are trying to raise funds for an exoskeleton for Justin Covarrubias, a local student, who is paralyzed from the waist down due to a motocross crash. Two Cal Arts alums have made the Oscars’ shortlist for their work in animation. Six Flags is set to host the third annual hand on 5k/10k to support local community non-profits. The City of Santa Clarita plans to host a community blood drive benefiting the American Red Cross. Plus, your local weather report.
